
Chakra Dance
Movement has always been a part of my life. I first trained as a personal fitness trainer in my 20’s, with a strong foundation in aerobics and body conditioning. Years later, I fell in love with the chakra system and began exploring how movement could be used not just for fitness, but for emotional balance and spiritual alignment.
That journey led me to train in Kundadance with Maya Fiennes, a practice that awakened a whole new way of moving. Since then, I’ve blended my knowledge of fitness and training with the fluid, energy based movements of Kundadance to create my own Chakra Dance practice.
Chakra Dance is a movement journey through the seven chakras - an embodied way to release stuck energy, shift emotions and build strength and vitality. It’s uplifting, grounding and expressive - a practice I return to most weeks myself to stay fit and to keep my emotions flowing.

1. Root (Muladhara) – grounding, safety & stability
2. Sacral (Svadhisthana) – creativity, flow & sensuality
3. Solar Plexus (Manipura) – confidence, power & vitality
4. Heart (Anahata) – love, compassion & openness
5. Throat (Vishuddha) – expression, truth & voice
6. Third Eye (Ajna) – intuition, clarity & vision
7. Crown (Sahasrara) – connection, expansion & higher self
Each session is a journey - moving from grounding at the root to opening into higher awareness at the crown.
Chakra Dance is less about ‘getting it right’ and more about letting your body move freely, guided by rhythm and intention. It is both fitness and ritual, a practice that leaves you energised, lighter and more connected.
